Muting style tracks

I find some of the styles I wish to use are too busy with unwanted fillins and when these tracks are muted it also mutes them in the intros and endings. Is there any way you can mute them in the STS's so that the intros and endings are not affected.

Cheers, Jurone

Hi Jerome

No, thats not possible. The STS“s contains only Live-Tracks (Upper1-3 and Lower).
When you want something other in your Style-Tracks, you have tp open the style with "record", / edit current style.
So you can edit each element. (Delete events).

Hi Lessimore
Thanks for your reply

I don't think I explained myself correctly as I should have said "Variations" and not STS's so I will try again

Occasionally I find some of the "Variations" in a style too "busy" with fillins and when these tracks are muted or put to zero volume the intros and endings are affected. Is there any way you can do this with the "Variations" of a style without affecting the intros and endings.

If you have empty user slots available, copy and paste those styles that have "busy contents", to those empty slots. Then, in style record mode, delete the tracks that you don't want to hear in all elements, and then save it.

Hi Jerone
my answer would be the same. You only want to change something in the variations. So there is only this deeper way.

Hi Jurone, Do as suggested and load your style -> Style Record mode - Record/Edit style -> pick your variation, V1 for example -> Press the keyboard Menu button -> press on screen the 'Event Edit' Button. - On this screen you have the option to alter all the parameters of the chosen Variation - From Drum to Acc5 . You can lower Volumes [numerical values] or you can completely delete elements [Tracks] of that Variation to make it less busy. Same for the Intro's, Endings, Fills etc....Save the style in a free user slot. Hope that's of further help to you.... :)

I do exactly what Sam mentioned. ( Hi Sam,How are you, I havnt been on the forum much recently).
I have kept pages on Favorites for my my custom modified styles. I love most of the styles but to suit particular song ,needs some editing /deleting here and there.
