Cables for Kaoss Pad 3

I'm trying to find the right cables for my kaoss pad 3. I have an RCA cable but when I use it the effects/sounds during looping aren't loud or as deep. I'll loop my voice with any random filter and when it plays back it's very quiet. Also the effects don't really work, I mean it's mostly just my voice with a little bit of the effect. I don't know what to do, or what cables to use for input OR output. Please help, this is driving me crazy.

RCA cables are right, changing them is unlikely to help

have you tried changing the FX Depth?
the Input Volume?

Could this be a consequence of having it set to send/return mode rather than direct?

Yes I've tried changing both the fx depth and the input volume, and it still doesn't do anything.

please play with your equipment's wet/dry fader or options, For instance I'm using a Rane TTM56S DJ mixer with the KP3 and when I slide the fader to the wet there is only the effect signal which comes from KP3, at the middle is the best for me oppositely when you slide the fader to DRY actually you cannot get the effects from KP3

im excited to see that your using a KP3 with a 56

when you have the 56's wet/dry fader in the middle (my sweet spot as well... most of the time) do you get any sound coloration just from having the FX switch on... before even touching/applying the KP3...?

basically what i mean is when i have my 56's wet/dry fader in the middle or sometimes higher, that when i play the sound/record/sample/whatever through say... channel 2 i get a great sound... when i switch the FX switch for that channel i get instant coloration of the original sound... even before touching the KP3. its not a horrible coloration, but its there and i cant figure out if its the KP3 or the Rane 56.

make any sense...?

What do you mean by coloration? When you switch the FX to ON sound will be less than the OFF , this is normal

If there is another sounds there should be a problem with the cabes , have you tried to change your cables?, Get a high quality gold plated cables and dont forget cables should be unbalanced.
