Every time i switch my electribe EMX on i have to change my DrNote settings in the Midi utility so that the drum parts trigger the correct beats in reasons redrum device.

This is a pain in the ass? why does it not save? am i missing something?

If it's anything like any other Korg device, you have to 'write' the global settings when you change them.

Im pretty sure i tried that, but i will double check when i get back. Ill be kicking myself if that is all it was!

Another problem i have (for reason users) is that when I play drum patterns on channel 10 they do play the notes in Redrum once i have assigned it in the midi routing device at the top, but for whatever reason i cant get the damn sequencer to record it (it is armed), unless i put the midi device in master keyboard mode, which is a pain as you cant use other device on the other channels. Im going to post thi son the reason forum though so dont worry!

Unfortunately that's just a reason thing. It will only record from the master device.

so i cant assign a synth part to an NNXT and the drum parts to redrum and record simultaneously?
In master keyboard mode it doesnt matter what channel the signals are on it still plays the selected device, so if you have all parts playing its a mess, whereas in muti-channel it lets you assign channels seperately so each part controls a different device. Thought i could assign each part to a device and then simply record my patterns straight into the sequencer.

If thats right then ill be well pissed off... :(
