I just bought a new Korg pa500 ORT (on its way, can't wait), and wondering what the best stereo speaker setup would be. Is it possible to connect regular computer speakers (2.1) like Klipsch or Logitec?

The built-in speakers on the Pa500 are quite good for home use, certainly better than PC speakers. If you want something a bit better for use when gigging, then consider the Yamaha Stagepas 300 set at about 480 Euros. They will work fine for small clubs etc. You can spend thousands on good amplification for large venues.

I have my Pa2X connected to the logitech 2300s at home which sound terrific; also it is a very compact and good looking setup. I tried also the logitech z4 with good results, but decided in the end to use those for my pc and the higher quality 2300s for the Pa2X.

Have a question for you,how did you connect z2300. I have same speakers but when i plug them in, i am not getting the satisfactory result. Currently they are plugged in to the headphones jack. I tried plugging them in the actual speaker jacks at the back but didnt sound too good.
Do you use any mixers or what settings have you got? Thanks

Hi Ash, I connect them to the main outputs using a y splitter, although I also had a great sound from the headphone jack. I have the main eq set to 5/6/8. Hope this helps, mine sound terrific.
