The song I am trying to set up for is Kyrie, Mr Mister. there is a synth bass line that runs pretty much through the entire song. The pattern of notes is the same, just the chord base changes. What I want to do is create this sequence of notes and trigger it with the base note of each chord.

Is this done with the sequencer or can I manually create an arpeggiation and set it to trigger off of a single key, or better yet, one of the chord buttons. (I love those buttons)? My preference would be to manually create the arpeggiation.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

What you´re asking can be solved by two ways. One of then is using the powerful RPRN tool in Sequencer mode. You can assing any pattern (drums or notes) to any key. Just pressing it, the secuence will repeat one beat, endless and more. Even you can program the chord trigger to assing that key.

The other option is editing an user arpeggio (in Global mode). There are banks enough to create your own arpeggios. Then you can use them like in triggering buttons for example.
