Hi everyone, Long time no speeeak, I have uploaded my latest track that I'm working on, to my myspace page, very rough like, dog like, hehehe. Have a listen if you like and let me know what you think, good or good, I meant bad, silly me, hehehe.
Here's my space, lol www.myspace.com/joethompson63
It is just a rough cut but it has potential, I hope.

I don't know if that is the beginning of the song or not...but if it is, it would probably work well if you fade in that part for a few measures and then you could continue there. Or maybe you could start the song with the drum pattern for a few measures, and then add the other sounds. Then you could keep doing that for the majority of the song, if you know what I mean. Like every four measures you could add in a different pattern or melody, and finally conclude the song with just one melody.
Just some thoughts.
Just some thoughts.
Thanks for listening to my song Pumpkin King
Good thoughts man, it is the beginning sort of and I'm trying to learn how to use a step sequencer in Thor, Reason 4.
I would like to take the song further and yes a fade in is a good idea, and one I will use, but I still have to figure out the rest of the song. It is a bit repetitive and needs to have a middle and an end, which I hope will come to me sooner rather than later!
