Touch Sensitivity on the M50-88

Hi,
I just purchased an M50-88 and I was wondering if there is a way to turn off the touch sensitivity? is this the same thing as after-touch?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

"Touch sensitivity" is normally called "velocity," and it means, basically, that the harder you hit the keys, the higher the volume of the sound. "Aftertouch" is a type of modulation, not available on the M50, in which, when you press down on the keys (and hold them down), you change the sound in some way (vibrato, tremolo, filter, etc.).
In order to change the velocity settings on the M50, go to Global mode, and on P0: Basic Setup, you'll see a number for "velocity curve." The default setting is 4. As far as I know, you can't turn this off completely, but you can bring it all the way down to 1, which is pretty close.

I'm fairly sure you CAN turn off sensitivity..

To clarify,
Setting up a Combi, within the combi you CAN turn off sensitivity.

Can't find the page/parameter for this, StudioMan. Are you referring to the velocity zones? Insight much appreciated (esp. since I have a bad habit of making changes globally, when I could be doing things at the program or combi level...).
