hi all,

i am a new owner of a Korg PA50 - but have never owned a Korg before and the operation of it is very new to me.

I will be mainly using this keyboard as the BASS player in the Band, So I need to split the keyboards left half to BASS, and right half to strings or guitar or any other melody instrument depending on the song played.

QUESTION IS:
I want to set the 'ASSIGN SLIDER' to be my volume conrol for only the right half of the keyboard.

So that way I can set my BASS to one level with the master volume slider and slide up or down my volume for my right half of the keyboard as I need it during live performance with the ASSIDN SLIDER......

I have tried figuring it out using the owner manual with no luck.....

PLEASE HELP!! HOW DO I DO THIS???

the best way i can think of is to set bass sound for left hand. make sure you don't have the ~hold left~ activated, just in case.
then, you simply select the wanted program(s) for the right hand and you're good to go.

another way to do it is using ~manual bass~, select the wanted bass sound, wanted right hand programs and also the style (if you want that too) and than write everything as a performance. this is the way i use it most of the times...

if i can help you on, just shout! ;)

Excellent! i will try that tonight.....

the other magic question was, how do I make the 'assign slider' to control the volume on my right half of the keyboard??

Im happy to leave the volume on the BASS at a set level, but would like to control the volume of the right side separetely during live perfomance as required....??

Thanks in Advance!! :)
