Saving to USER

Hello all

The manual refers to "saving to internal memory' on page 43 but not specifically how to save to a 'user' bank. Can anyone tell me how I can save my own chosen voices (which would be variations of the factory pre-sets) to the USER bank shown in the Category window but not referred to in the manual as far as I can see.

There are three combi banks and four program banks. they are all 'user' banks, so when you write something you have to do it to one of the slots on A, B, C, or D, thus overwriting something else.

but you can set the category of a sound when you save if using utility > write (not using the rec/write button because that doesn't bring up the diaogue)

in utility> write program, there will be a field saying 01:Keyboard, or 02:Organ, etc, if you highlight that you can change it so it will appear in the USER category when you hit the category button. but any program or combi can have any category, it isn't a bank, you still only have banks A, B, C, and D, which just happen to be completely full on the TR.

that is helpful, every manual has it's own 'code' like crossword puzzles some are intuitive and some are not...
