PIONEER EFX 1000 & KORG MINI PAD CONNECT TOGETHER H E L

Hi to all,

Anyone here please help me out with this, i have a dj setup of a djm 600 , 2 cdjs 1000 and 1 efx 1000, so as u all propably know i connect my efx 1000 with jacks on my send and return chanels of my djm 600 and then back again with jacks to my efx 1000.......then i turn the knob on the mixer to send and return and then i press the yellow button and here it goes THE efx works fine!

So now i just bought the kaos mini pad and i try to link them so they can work together. i go from the output of my korg to the input of the efx 1000 with rca and from the output of my efx to the input of korg......they actually work together and i can record whatever effect i do on my korg into the efx 1000 but the thing is that when i turn on the power of my korg the spekaers volume goes really really low......i tried to turn the volume up from the main mixer and amplifier but still is doesnt make sence since i put them all in full volume and the main volume was not even close to what it is with the korg power off.

I hope you got my point and someone can help me

the mini kp lowers the source volume by aprox 10 db. so yeah, it's really quiet. welcome to the world of korg...

Yes, I have the same issue.

It happens too with the Pioneer RMX-1000.

Does anyone have any solution so far?

Usually the problem is only when attempting to use the miniKP as part of effects loop where there's no return level control. If you use the miniKP in-line to an input or the main output, then the 10dB can be easily adjusted with the gain control following the miniKP.
