Padkontrol: Is it possible to have multiple scenes at once?

Can I load in say a MOTU BPM scene on 'scene 1' and then load in some different scales in for using with a synth on 'scenes 2-3'? and have them available at the same time just by changing the scene on the PKontrol?
everytime I use the librarian it seems to load over whatever was there before, presumably you might be able to 'aim' the loading of a new scene preset into a particular scene on the padkontrol, but I don't know how to do this?
hope someone can help.

Hey Pete, it must have been pretty late when I read your post, I thought you were asking about something else.
Not being condescending, but are you sure you're transmitting the scenes to the Padkontrol and saving them?

don't worry I appreciate any help I can get on this!
No I've never purposely saved any of the scenes that I've transmitted via the librarian as I thought that they just were 'auto' saved like a 'hardware system up grade' type thing.
when you transmit a scene from the librarian it seems to always load in starting from scene 'one', can you save a Battery scene to one and then direct the librarian to load into scene 3?
if I could crack that, it would answer my problem.

That's probably it, you have to save the scenes onto the unit itself.
You can load 16 scenes at once in librarian and them transfer those to the PK (this is a scene set.) You can also drag and drop scenes to different slots 1-16 in librarian so the battery doesn't have to be on 1
You might want to also save the scenes as a "set" onto your hard drive just in case you don't save it right on the PK then you can just snatch them off the drive, then re-send them to PK.

You can either right click (PC) or click + ctrl (MAC) on the individual scenes and choose to transmit them one at a time from the scene list on the left side of the Editor software.
transmit scene and transmit scene set

I think that I know where the mismatch comes from. Maybe that every time that you try to transmit a new scene you transmit a whole new scene set. Every time u do so, if you load one scene at time and transmit the whole scene set, ou are erasing all the others already transmitted.
Normaly when you transmit a scene set it is supposed to write'm all ( saved) but if u r not sure re-save'em all
I prefer, in Editor Librarian, to load each n every scene I need first and after transmit the whole scene set. ( I reckon that sometime the send a unique scene doesn't work right 4 me,...dunno y !)
right click on a scene (on the left)
Load... (load u scene)
right click on following one
Load...
when u r done ( if u want to save the scene set do it ) .. and TRANSMIT THE WHOLE SCENE SET
