When you hit shift ext. control you get P.001 to P.128 on the kp3.
Does this mean anything? I did not see anything in the manual or the editor for this. Is this something not implemented yet?
Thanks.
John

This corresponds to the program change sent out when you turn the Program knob. It frustrates me too, as I initially believed there was a 'scene'/MIDI-layout saving system whereby you could switch between blocks of CC values for all the KP3's buttons and faders - ideal for jumping between param control of different instruments, effects or DAW tracks.
I guess this is something that will either not be implemented until the next OS update or...never at all.
Having said that, I'd love for someone to tell me I'm wrong!

Korg MIDI value switch
I managed to save the assignable CC-values as a global program.
It enables me to switch according to the instruments, DAW tracks or effects i want to use.
Elas, the switching part can only be achieved by sending it over USB to the KP3.
An easier solution might be to enable or disable certain values in
each device (VST, effect, DAW-fader) to control and then send the values according to what effect to achieve.
Next i will send the CC's to a VST-MIDI mapper or virtual MIDI controller.
Then i'd only have to change the values according to the destination.
Hopefully i can upload some real-world examples soon.
So these are my first impressions and solutions to your problem.
I hope this helps.
cheers, Hyper
