Hi,
I have been using my Korg M1 mainly as a controller for the past 10 years or so. Now I want to give it to my daughter to use as a stand alone keyboard but I cannot get any output from it either with headphones or connected to an amp. I replaced the internal battery and re-loaded the factory presets from a sysex dump librarian. still I cannot get any output.
please help!
thanks in advance
Korg M1 output problem

Welcome to the forum.
Most likely there should be a global setting for Local Control that should be OFF. Turn it ON and you should have output.
If you are going to use a normal synth or keyboard as a controller, you turn off this setting to avoid getting any sound from the keyboard and just midi messages.
