Two questions

Post by prkravi »

Hi,
I have two basic questions.

1. I have created a combi, how do i use it as the Program for while recording? To record i need to exit the combi mode and go to sequencer mode.

2. Drum Pattern, i want to create my own drum track, how do i do that? I read in some of the earlier posts about RPRR can someone briefly tell me how this is done. I created a 6 beat drum beat and recorded it in Midi Track 1, now if i go to the PlyLoop page and select that track1 needs to be looped for these many measures, it doesnt appear to.
Is there something wrong that im doing?

pls help.
Thanks!

Don't know the answer to the second question. For the first though, go into sequencer mode and there should be a menu option to create a song using a combi.

you can also use enter + rec for 'one touch recording', Korg's shortcut to take the entire program or combi you are using straight to the sequencer and set up to record.

For the second question, RPRN has different tools. One of them allows you to take the beats you have recorded the pattern, saving it and assigning to a key. That´s how I took some midi patterns from a library.
100% hardware made. All is done in a Korg M50 internal sequencer. Now updated (7/09/12) at http://www.hispasonic.com/akmon
