Lately, my R3, when hook up through my M-Audio Firewire solo interface, has been sounding very quiet. The output level on the Firewire solo's user interface/ mixer screen wont reach above -10 Dbs even with the master volume on the r3 turned all the way up. The output on the interface is turned all the way up. I run ableton live 8. Is there anyway to boost the R3's output level? or does anyone have any ideas? Thanks for the help!!

Where do you have the input gain control set on the Firewire solo? You don't have the phantom power turned on, do you? Be sure it's off. You are using the unbalanced line inputs, right? What are the levels set in the Firewire Software Mixer page on its control panel application? How do you know the problem is with the output of the R3 and not the input of the Firewire solo?
