I bought affordable 4 GB SDHC for my Nintendo DSi at Office Max and it came with a high speed card reader which I needed for my laptop. I hope this answers your question.

Thanks for the info, ravenking. The reason I asked was that I got really confused at a couple of sites. What is the exact name & specification of your card?

well before we get into sd only cards...the type of card we are looking for for running home brewed games and music software is something called a R4. It plays in the game slot of your DS and DSi. It uses micro sd.

Now I don't know if home brewed/ROM software can be loaded and played off of the DSi slot. But as far as I know, being a DS user the R4 is the only way to go.

Actually its just called a 'flash cartridge' or something along those lines.

The R4 is a particular company's product.

there are loads of others out there,

me I use SuperCard products, have been using them since the very first DS flash cartridges that required a passme and GBA flash cartridge, never had a problem
