Is this out of the question?

In combination mode is it possible to zone (assign a key range to an effect) effects like programs can be?

For example, on the left hand side of the keyboard I want to drench some lush strings in reverb in order to both enhance and accent them as opposed to the right half where I want substantially less reverb for the accompanying grand piano.

Ideally the amount of reverb for each 1/2 of the keyboard would be controllable and assignable according to each instruments needs.

Hopefully this would presented in a way that was understandable.

Any thoughts on the matter?

Doable?

Thanks everyone,

Bruce

Its very easy, once you split, assign the 2 instruments to 2 diffferent reverbs.

If each Timbre is being routed to the L/R buss and the Reverb is a send effect (MFX in Korg parlance) then you can specify the MFX send depth for each Timbre. The same is also true if Timbres are being individually routed through IFX busses. Each IFX buss can have individual MFX send depths too. Or you could use two reverbs, one in each MFX slot (one full fat reverb, the other 'lite'), and route each timbre/buss to either the full fat or lite one as appropriate (as per Basari's suggestion).

Lots of ways to do this ...
