Hi.
I'm a oldschool dj. Turntables i mean.
A dj can't sell his music because he need to pay the production propierty rights.
Then using Kaossilator and minikp you can register your own productions and sell it later.
I'm right ?

unless you're using somebody elses samples u prolly can. Copyrighting music is ok if you arent using phrases of any kind from someone elses copy protected work

Yes, you have full rights to any original works you do on the Kaossilator, miniKP, or any synth that isn't using samples of other peoples music.
If you reproduce Michael Jackson's Beat It on the Kaossilator then try to sell it, you should expect to get a nasty letter from a lawyer and then a lawsuit, even if you didn't sample any part of the original. Copyright protection not only covers the product/form (sample) but also the work itself (the music, lyrics, artwork, packaging, or anything else that is creative).
You have no problem if you are doing your own thing. The only problem would be if two Kaossilator artists happened to produce a song that sounded alike. That could happen by accident or intentionally, then the courts might have to decide. It hasn't come to that yet.

Its pretty well expected that if you buy a piece of music gear, you're allowed to sell what you make with it..
its like a guy needing permission from a guitar maker to sell music he makes with a guitar!
Be careful with loops that are included with things though..
Someone got in trouble for using a deadmau5 loop that was included with fruityloops.

you'd be surprised how many top producers' advice is based on owning a particular set of sample libraries.
Its depressing.. but yes there are plenty of people who do just that.

hey if I was in it for the money, there's only one solution: puzzle toghether a bunch of pre-made, top produced loops and get beyonce to sing over...
..but then again, it would not feel the same knowing you didn't do it from scratch. It's like being proud for heating a frozen pizza..
