Note Sticking problem

Post by mellowstu »

Hi

I had a gig last night and while i was playing one of the organ sounds the notes started to stick, meaning when i took my fingers of the keys the sound carried on playing. It wasn't anything to do with the polarity of the sustain pedal and after changing patches it was working ok again.
Anyone else experienced this problem or know what could have caused it?

As far as I'm aware no solution has been found, nor an explanation given, by Korg.

I suppose at least now it's happened to you too, you know how to rectify it straight away (ie: switch to another prog/combi & back - which is how I got round it).

If it's any consolation, I've had my M50 for around 4 months now, and it's only happened the one time.

I forgot all about that hiccup, seems it won't go away on its own.

Hasn't happened to me in the 5 months of owning it thank goodness, I'd probably get pretty frazzled if it happened while playing out

Almost 3 months without "hanging" notes. But this only mean good luck, not problem fixed.
100% hardware made. All is done in a Korg M50 internal sequencer. Now updated (7/09/12) at http://www.hispasonic.com/akmon

Yes i'd had mine 3 months before it happened for the first time. It happened again yesterday while practising. Hopefully it will be ok for my gig tonight.
