Dear Musicians,
Does anyone know if it is possible to change the current keys of the pa800 ino semi-weighted keys like the pa2x?
If it is possible, which kind of keyboard or midi controller doe i have to buy than to take it from?

I think you'll find that most unlikely
as to my knowlege no 61 semi weighted keybeds are available and all the fittings would likely be wrong. Plus the keys are slightly different sizes say from Yamaha to Korg. Why not just trade in your pa800 for a pa2x. Much better option...
Go on, you know you want to!

Another option might be to use a 2 tier stand...mount the PA800 RIGHT on a second lower manual MIDI keybord with the action you want. I use a CME UF70. It is semi wieghted (76 keys) and very close to the action of my PA2XPRO. There are many others...you would want to try out before you buy. My PA2 is VERY close to the CME...actually the front of it sets on the CME. You have to be a little creative to do this, and I would not use exactly how I do it for gigging. (just use the standard 2 tier setup for that)
You can setup the PA to use the lower keyboard for everything...and use the original PA800 keybed for fast synth stuff?
Just an idea...IF you don't want to sell PA800 and get PA2, but you want to play on different keys.

a few months ago or maybe longer time ago, there was the same topic on this forum.
Unfortunatelly i cant find it anymore.
There was a member that told that there is a keyboard or midi controller (something like that) which has the same size keys as the pa800 but than in semi weighted keys. He replaced his pa800 keys into that one.
Actually I prefer the pa2x, but because of the weight ans size and the lack of speaker I bought the pa800.

Well if you decide to do that, your keyboard will no longer be fixed by Korg in case anything goes wrong if it is still under warranty. As was mentioned above, The keys and the size are completely different.
You should think twice before writing off your keyboard.

My 2 year warranty is already finished...so I will try to change tham.
It seems that the Studiologic SL-161 keys will fitt perfect. I will try it and let you know.

Hi Ozzie,
Fatar/ Studiologic make a wide range of keybeds, the trick is finding one that is a better feel than the Korg Pa800 keybed and which will fit. Maybe the 61 note "weighted" version of the TP_8SK keyboard could be persuaded? Check it out, ask Fatar engineers what they would suggest for after market use on the Pa800 etc ...
http://www.fatar.com/Pages/TP_8SK.htm
I have to say that the 76 note keybed on the Pa2x is very nice, and I think it would be a good option for you to consider ... especially while your Pa800 currently has a reasonable resale value ... which I think you will not be able to sell at such a good price if you change the keybed.
Best regards,
Rob
