If you have a Sequence/Song created for live performance "like a lounge lizard" and a hot girl comes up to sing LOL..and it's not in her key, can you change keys on the fly of a sequence..or do you have to go into each sound individually?
Thanks

The keyboard has a global transpose option in Global mode. Does that affect the sequencer?
No

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Global transpose just affects the keyboard when you're playing, not sequencing.
I assume you'll have to individually transpose each program in the sequence......that's what I've done with the M3.

I was just asked tonight to sit in for 2 gigs on St Patricks Day -2 weeks away- & have only just been given the set list (approx 25 songs).
I was told that they weren't sure yet what key each song is going to be played in & the guitarists were just going to use a capo if required...
potentially a problem for a keyboard player on the fly!
Now - having had this to think about, what I've done is work out each song in the key of C and, if needed, adjust the key
using the 'global' menu mentioned earlier.
This takes about 3 seconds to do - so if you were in the position of having a request from a volunteer singer,
you could alter up to 16 individual voices in less than 1 minute (whilst going through the pleasantries etc!)
If your sequencer has any fewer 'parts' then you can reduce this time accordingly.
I realise that it would be more convenient to do this in one go, but it's not going to be a major problem in that scenario -
a short bit of banter / fumbling through your paperwork etc actually impresses people more 'cos it gives the impression
that you're able to adapt to any unexpected situation!
I hope you get that girl!

but trasponsing from global have no effect?
i mean sequencer tracks are a list of midi event, mainly note number that triggers internal engine.
if the engine is transposed this should not effect also midi tracks? a sent midi note, e.g. C4, wouldn't be transposed when played by the internal sound engine according to global setting?
