Using KP3 live - stands???

Post by leelustig »

Hello chums,
I have a little question, I'm 'this' close to ordering a KP3 but I have a few concerns about using it live. What kind of stand can I get for this thing? I've looked all over and they don't make a stand for it. I know virtually nothing about using modules like this live and I'm clueless.
Ideally I'd like to have it right above my roland Fantom, sort of floating there, or being held up by something. But I can't seem to find anything that will do the trick.
What is meant to be used in this situation? someone please help. thanks.

Maybe you can use some kind of a DJ's laptop stand.

I use a heavy duty music stand flattened out... the KP sits towards the bottom where the sheet music would be. It works pretty well and has only fallen off once! (it's hooked through my guitar line and someone snagged the cable) I added some Velcro and all is well.

If you find something better, let me know because I've been on the lookout for longer than a year.
