Question regarding assigning ARP to single key in a combi...

Ok, thx to many of the helpful topics here I have actually started tailoring combis & getting them all in the same area for live performing. Thx so much for the tips, gentlemen!

Quick question. I have a dual layered synth combi setup but I need one key (preferably in the lower region of the keybed) to run a designated arp. This arp is actually a totally different voice. Can anyone tell me if I can do this at all. I can't toggle between combis on the fly for this song, so having everything in one setting will make everything work onstage. In case you're wondering, it's for "She's a Beauty" by The Tubes.

You should be able to make your combi 3 layers instead of 2, with the third layer being only one note, to trigger the arp.

Hmmm, having trouble. I've actually just decided to stick with the dual layers & use one of them to voice the arp. I've isolated it to the lower zone & made sure that my settings indicate it will be synched by pressing the assigned keys. Still not hearing anything. When I switch to the combi in question, the arp light comes on indicating a pattern has been assigned but I'm not hearing any arp at all.

Am I doing something wrong here? Ughhh :x
