ive seen cd's on ebay with loads of samples on in es1 format. Anyone know were i can download this stuff myself for free ?

Not to be a smart guy or anything...but have you considered a turntable?
I mean once you start sampling from vinyl, your options for finding and collecting sounds increases ten fold.

get a card and card reader and chop mp3s with audacity and load them to the card then the machine...
