Creating mp3's and CD

Post by stefan13 »

I intend to buy an M50 very soon, but am still reviewing all the features, etc.

Can someone advise the easiest way to create mp3's and/or make a CD with the M50? Is it just a matter of using the included software to do this. What is involved.

Thanks for your help

It's EXACTLY the same as recording a guitar, a mic, whatever.

Plug a 1/4" cable into an output (or 2 outs for stereo), press record.

Pretty simple stuff!

Well, "press record - on your external recorder", you might add.

I'm not sure if the OP knows that the M50 does NOT have any audio inputs, sampling/bouncing/rendering capabilities etc. You can NOT record your live performance or sequencer playback internally. You need an external recorder or a DAW to do so. This hardware then will happily convert your recording to mp3 or burn it on a CD.

Best regards,
