If you're not aware of what KARMA M50 Software is, it basically gives your M50 all of the KARMA-fied features and
sounds of the upscale Korg M3 and OASYS. More details on what the program does:

KARMA M50 Software Page

If you'd like to take a look at some of the documentation and tutorials without buying the program, they're available here:

KARMA M50 Documentation Page

Also, I'd like to mention that there is a discount of $40 for anyone who owns any of my previous software programs
KARMA MW, KARMA Oasys, KARMA M3 or KARMA Triton. You can check the details of the offer from the KL Store ordering page:

Thanks, and I look forward to hearing what you think of the program. :)

Is it easy to sync it with your DAW, and will I need a second computer to run KArma and Cubase at the same time?

I have a 24" iMac 2,8Ghz... (and I love it :D )

It's not difficult to sync with your DAW - and no, you don't need a second computer. It runs on the same computer at the same time...

Not really. It's a standalone piece of software, that can send MIDI to a DAW through inter-application ports, or directly to the M50.

It's an advanced MIDI generation system. You can read about the software here:

KARMA M50 Software

You can watch videos of what it does on a Korg M3 her (which is pretty much what your M50 will be able to do with the software running on a computer):

Hi,

I enjoyed using Karma on my Korg Karma years ago.

How many authorisations are allowed, assuming that people move their computers around, reinstall their OS or change hard drives. Are you easy on people reauthorising every 6 months or is there some limit.

Thanks,
Dapunk.

I have the m50, but don't really know what karma is exactly, can it be used on other synths besides the m50?
It seems like a phrase generator of sorts.

Yes, it's a "phrase generator", perhaps the most advanced around.

I suggest checking this:

http://www.karma-lab.com/km50

It requires a Korg M50 to operate, but it can also be used with other synths assuming you have one of those connected.

We've never made a demo version of KARMA M50, so he must have looked at a demo of KARMA MW or KARMA Triton....not exactly the same, but close....older version...
