Parameter Guide?

Post by NuSkoolTone »

Everytime I read the Manual and want to get into the gritty details of things it says "See parameter guide page xxx".

Was I suppose to get one of these? Because it wasn't in the box for my M50-61.

Can I get a HARD COPY? (And hopefully not be charged for it) I know there's a PDF online, but I don't want to be shackled to my computer to learn how to program my new keyboard!

Thanks.

Ya, you can get a Param. Guide Hard Copy for FREE! Just print it out at work, it won't cost you paper nor ink... "FREE"!!

Yeah, just go here:

http://www.korg.com/service/downloadinfo.asp?DID=1428

It's a PDF. I'm just going to use my work printer too, seeing as it's 419 pages.

I think most of us are aware this stuff is online, and that's great. However not all of us have a corporate printer to abuse.

My thing is since this is referenced SO much in the Manual, we should have a copy of this too. Perhaps not everyone will use it, but those who do should get one FOC IMO.

I agree. It took me a few hours to realize I wasn't missing part of the manual. Not all of us read the 100 page manual included cover to cover, so not all of us are going to have read the part saying it references the online Param guide.

I agree... I can not believe that it was not included in the box! It took me a little time to figure that one out too... as the manual is referring to it alot. Also the program & combi list should have been included too. These pdfs and not just 2 or 3 pages.

Called support and as far as they know a Hard copy doesn't exist. Though the pdf file looks A LOT like the printed manual I have?

Still exploring other avenues for a hard copy, this SUCKS!

I'm pretty sure the parameters guide is on the CD that comes with the m50 .. A lot of people, myself included, feel that it should have come in printed form .. being locked to the computer is a PITA ..

Not sure why you're still looking for an official hard copy. It's on the CD and Korg isn't officially supplying one. Short of printing one yourself or having someone do it for you, it doesn't exist. And of course the parameter guide and owner's manual look the same; that was intentional. Why use two totally different templates, layouts, etc. for two similar documents?
