Anyone tried the M-Audio es88 with M3M

Post by mf_blues »

I'm thinking of getting the above for when I want to use my M3M away from my Piano, just wanted to know if anyone has tried one and what the keyboard feel is like.?

I have an M3-61 and planned to get a 49es so that I can detach the module for travel and use the 49es instead to keep it light. I tried a 10-month old 49es. When I tried the feel, I was not impressed. Then I had it connected to the PC to test the keys if they work. Surprise!, there were about 5 keys not working so I didn't buy it.After this experience, I took it upon myself not to buy M-audio keys. My church has 2 88 prokeys digital pianos, both are faulty as some of the keys don't work. M-audio made a bad impression on me.

The others may have a different experience than what I have with this brand so you should also consider their comments and reviews by experts in the web.

Thanks SoulidState

I'm also looking at the Studio Logic VMK-188 Plus, which is twice the price but has a lot of features that I could use. So if anyone's had any experience with these please let me know.

cheers
