Can you change the speed of the arpeggiator? Or can't you?(just with tempo?)
If its not possible would it be possible to layer 2 patters over each other? Or can you set a tempo for a synth part using the arpeggiator, and a different tempo for the drums?

unfortunitly not. The arp always runs 16ths. You can record an arp and then remove all the in between steps if you wanted 8th notes, or experiment with tapping the arp strip at the tempo you wanted.
