I think so.

While it's true there's an SD card in the M3 (as widely reported in several places) for storing system files, you can make it as big as you want and there's still no way to store user files on it. Doesn't work that way. User files are stored on the USB flash stick. So just stop thinking about it.

I saw your pictures. Did you use a USB extension cable to connect the 8 Gbyte flash drive to the usual external USB port on the M3? What advantage does this give you? You can't swap the flash drive between a PC and the M3 any more - so haven't you lost your easy way to back up files?

You can still copy files from a second USB drive plugged into the external port. Copy files to your internal flash drive.... eh? The M3 has awesome file management tools.

It's not from the outside, I solder wires directly on the mainboard under the USB connectors.

I see, you *added* an 8 mb flash inside the M3. I thought you were talking about the SD card for some reason. Clever, although it voids your warranty.

Yes, it's probably void warranty, but I live in SERBIA and here NOTHING void warranty!?

I think this is a really good idea.

no ugly USB stick hanging out.
no need to worry about having someone bump up agains the stick.
no need to worry about forgeting your memory stick.

I woud hate to somehow void the warranty though.
