Zero4 + TS 1.3 / Traktor 3.4

Post by Funky B »

Zero4 users beware... With the new TS 1.3 / Traktor 3.4 release you will need 2 channels when using timecode on the cd/line input - like back when the Zero4 first came out. The phono channel is not affected.

The BPM detection with firmware 1.6 is also not as strong as prior firmware releases.

Any news of a new firmware release?

Ug, I wish I would have seen this post before I wasted 20 hours in the last 4 days on this... I finally figured this out too and posted a similar warning before I saw yours.

BTW, I've run across some of your other posts, if I recall correctly we have identical setups? 2xNumark HDX, Korg Zero4 and Traktor Scratch? I'd love to hear how well your setup has been working out, I've owned mine almost a year and have only really got it to work maybe 2 hours total on 3 occasions.

My setup has been running solid for a long time now. I have a site NuHDX.com dedicated to the HDXs. I would be more than happy to help you setup your system! When setup properly the vinyl like control of the HDXs can be more stable than anything I've ever used. No worrying about scratched vinyl, cds or damaged needles...
