EMX-1 Arpeggiator contact

Recently i noticed my arpeggiator wasn't working as it normally does. For it to work i have to press kind of hard on the fader for it to make contact and work. I haven't taken it apart yet, but i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if so how they remedied the situation. Thanks!

I have a similar problem, I have to press the fader to the left in order to work, apparently is not a common problem because you are the first person I found in the net with the same problem, if someone knows a DIY fix for this let me know!!

Try spraying some contact electronics cleaner in there and sliding the fader around. MIght just be gummed up with dust or grime.

this part is pretty easy to replace, it's screwed in with a couple screws and a small wire.... nothing to solder(if I remember correctly)

so contact korg and milk the part number out of them
