I'm looking for a 4.5V AC adapter that fits the Kaossilator. I've tried 2 "universal" adapters, and neither had plugs that fit the Kaossilator. If anyone can direct me to an AC adapter that works, I'd be grateful!

The adapter you're looking for is Korg's KA 191.
I got mine bundled with the Kaossilator when I ordered it from Japan. It seems like sites that sells the adapter is Japanese though.

Why couldn't they have put a more common plug on this thing? That's one of the reasons I sold mine.

For people in the UK, Argos sell an AC/DC adaptor that can be used with the Kaossilator. It's £7.50:

Cat No. 982/8915 Masterplug 2500mA Multi-Voltage Adaptor.

I recently buy the kaossilator pad, it's amazing, but i need to buy the adapter...
Here in the forum, in this topic precisly i found that the DC 4,5V / 500 mA is the one, but i saw in the spain site of korg that they say the DC 45,V / 600 mA was the right. I've see even 300 mA.
Yesterday i emailed korg.es about that, and "to my surprise" the reply me:

DC 4,5V/ 300 mA !!!

Also i live in argentina, so, i really don't know what adapter i need, to use with the kaossilator.. any help ? thanks for anticipated !

p/d: sorry my baad english

i have two Bandridge BE1200 universal adapters. they have like 8 different plugs and voltages from 3V to 12V. i use them at 4.5V/1600mA and everything works fine with my kaossilator and minikp.

Thanks for the help sooshee!.

I guess the important tip are the volts and not the mA's?
