The headphone gain will be fine if you run the mixer levels hot.
Channel gains should be near full. Master volume at full.
If you run your gains hot, your headphones will be loud.

Can't understand, if the channel gains are near full, the sound will be distorted? red led? no? or should i have to reduce the channel gain in Live for each channel?

It won't distort. We are being told by Korg now that this is a digital mixer and is supposed to be run hot. You don't need to turn the gains all the way to full, but definitely turn them up very high.

Firstly I thought too that the headphone output is too weak. But after testing I must say that its loud. In home use I'm using volume at 9 o'clock position (that's tiny less than I've used before on Pioneer).
But there is big difference in sound, I thing. Korg sounds real digital (for me badly than analog mixers).

sorry, but this doesnt make sense. everyone, including myself, are sure that the headphone volume is low.... i had to buy a headphone amp just to get something decent out of it. so im not sure how yours works at 9'clock(<did>)?

I don't understand why everyone is having this problem?
My headphones get too loud. I would lose my hearing if I ran them as loud as they can go.
We must run these mixers hot. Channel gains turned up. Master volume at full.

yup, I got a seinheiser HD25 that is very sensitive, so output volume is enough for me even behind a 7kw soundsytem, but noticed it was a bit low with other headphones.

I am also having no problems with the HD 25 headphones while running with the levels set as reccomended on the seperate instruction sheet that was in the box with the mixer!

I not have torubles using the gain to the maximum............but that is stupid way to do the things.........
And in some situations like clubs with super big audio system really need more power in the headphones,a nd i have to use separate amp for headphones..............any cheap numark mixer or bheringer have better level jijiji.
Korg no teachme how use a mixer after 21 yeras like dj.......sorry korg !! : )
Just add gain for headphone !!!!!
Thankyou !!!
