Good quality Microphone without phantom power

Do I need phantom power If I connect Shure SM 58 mic into my pa800 ?please tell me name other good microphones which can work easily without phantom power

Hi eternalmusic .
With SM58 you no need phantom power .
Phantom is for Condenser Microphone , those we use only for Studio REC - not for LIVE play ....

SM58 is a very nice Mic for the money...

A more sensitive and/or higher gain non powered mike are those with Neodymium magnets. Shure has them in the Beta series, Electro Voices are less money and just as good. The budget mike that sounds very good is the Samson Q7. The Samson Q5 is an excellent hand help condenser for the money as well.

hi! how about beta 58 wirless mic? is that good for live performance? now i have SM58 but want to change it to beta 58 wirless.

SMS58 is overrate and people use it not cuz its good but cuz SOME people
used it...just a name, there is many MICs in that price range that would
eat an SM58 for breakfast, for example:
