Please help me regarding PA800 (unsure if mine is faulty)

I just bought a brand new PA800, and then I read on this board that some of them have hardware faults related to the RAM module. Well, I checked out the page that tells you what to do in order to see whether yours is faulty or not, but I'm still not completely sure. When I go to Sound -> Record -> Sampling Info, what EXACTLY should I look for, or even better, what should be displayed there if the keyboard is not faulty?

Can someone here post a couple of things I should do on the machine to see if it's faulty or not? I don't want to find out in a couple of years when my warranty is expired. :(

Thanks alot to all of you...

I already mentioned that I did that, and that I'm still unsure because the instructions aren't very clear. Next to "Mono Time" and "Bytes" I have numbers displayed, but next to "Available Memory" and "RAM Bank" there is nothing.

What other tests can I do to find out??? I like the keyboard alot but now I'm panicking and thinking about replacing it with a PA1X.

Hello Keenan,

I am not in my town i.e. my keyboard is not in front of me... but what I feel is..... your keyboard does'nt have any problem...

in front of Available memory and RAM Bank : nothing will be displayed... so don't panic

in front of Mono time : some 699 seconds should be there or some other number depending upon your sampling status...

in front of Bytes : some 8 digit number will be displayed...[I don't remember]

U've got to worry ONLY IF ur sampling info shows the following:
Mono Time: 0 s.
Bytes: 0

which is not ur case ... I believe.... so RELAX... & don't swap it with PA1X

To be sure you are looking at the right screen, we have added a snapshot of the display in the relevant FAQ:
