difficulty burning CDs on the OASYS

Post by jgsidak »

I'm trying to burn onto a CD the WAV files for 15 songs that total 67 minutes. The burn process freezes up repeatedly. It stopped on song 6. So I put in a fresh CD and started over. It froze on song 10. I have encountered this problem many times. How do I get the burn process unstuck once it freeze up? Is it a crap shoot whether I will be able to burn an entire list of WAV files?

I'm sorry that you're having difficulties. It sounds to me like contacting your Korg distributor's product support department would be a good idea. Please see the link in my signature for contact information.

Have you tried different brands?, as i heard some aren't suitable for korg (memorex for one). And are they WR (rewritable) or non rewritable ones?. That said, rewritable ones worked in my Triton studio.

As Dan, contact korg Support

I had been using Staples' house brand of CD-R. I have switched to the Memorex CD-R. I find that the OASYS successfully burns all 15 tracks onto a Memoex CD-R only about 1/3 of the times I make the attempt.
