Dry Off (Dry checkbox selected) should deactivate the dry signal, and send only the effect to the outputs. Isn't it what you are experiencing?piotrek_muzyk wrote:Pa2x have the same bug as Pa800 ... DryOFF function is not work ....
Also, please note that Dry Off can only be applied to internal MIDI tracks, and not to the Voice Processor.
Please note that only Audio Input 1 can be sent to the Voice Processor. When Voice Processor is in use, Audio Input 2 is deactivated. So, I don't know ecactly how you are connecting you equipment, bur remember that stero inputs cannot be processed.I want connect My Korg with mixer and use TC helicon as external voice procesor and I Can't. Why ?? When I up slider in my mixer i hear unnatural chorus ..
What you describe sounds like the the same audio signal being fed twice to the mixer. I wonder if there is some problem in routing the dry input signal both from the source, and the Pa2X.
Audio routing has changed from Pa1X, so I suggest you refer to the dedicated sections in the user's manual to see how it works in Pa2X.In Pa1x i dont have any problem with this !!
Regards,
Paolo

We have phone hot lines in nearly all Countries of the world, so I wonder why you have problems communicating with Korg. To find the address of your distributor, please check the following page:AVI6520 wrote:KORG should do some thing with communication with there customers for things like that!

In Pa1x when i select VOLUME level - "DryOFF" (in voice procesor SetuP) i hear only effect without leader signal.tramannoni wrote:Dry Off (Dry checkbox selected) should deactivate the dry signal, and send only the effect to the outputs. Isn't it what you are experiencing?

In Pa2x and Pa800 dryoff work the same as OFF - and it's all problem !!
I connect aux send (mixer) with Mic input (korg Pa2), And output 1.2 (korg Pa2) with aux return(mixer). Of course selected in AUDIO SETUP Mic Out sginal -> outputs 1 + 2.tramannoni wrote:So, I don't know ecactly how you are connecting you equipment, bur remember that stero inputs cannot be processed.
All is fine but with effect signal I hear leader sound - dryoff in voice procesor setup not work.
In Pa1x it's work great - I can use few microfons with TC helicon ... in Pa800 and Pa2x its imposible

While in Pa1X there was a parametr called DryOff, that turned the Lead Voice on/off in the Voice Processor, there is nothing similar in Pa2X. May you please point me to the parameter you are referring to?piotrek_muzyk wrote:In Pa1x when i select VOLUME level - "DryOFF" (in voice procesor SetuP) i hear only effect without leader signal.

[quoteI connect aux send (mixer) with Mic input (korg Pa2), And output 1.2 (korg Pa2) with aux return(mixer).[/quote]
Here, I have a hint for the "chorus" effect you hear: you are probably sending the source channel both to the Main Out and to the Aux Send. Therefore, the mixer's Main Out is receiving the same signal twice - from the channel, and from the Aux Return - hence the phasing, or chorusing effect. Do not send the channel to the output, but only to the Aux Send.
If you mean what I mean (the Dry parameter in the channels of Pa2X), Dry Off has nothing to do with the Voice Processor or mic input, so no wonder it doesn't work on it. But probably we are noth thinking to the same parameter.dryoff in voice procesor setup not work.

I HAVE TRY

IN 1 country - for example- by phone there was things, that they told me that they do not know yet, and to try with a new OS....,

THERE ARE PEOPLE IN THE FORUM that can understand AND HELP more of some distributors...

[NOT you or Mr. Taramannoni of course]
End for specific example-with "lyrics for all language" there answer was-
"YOU KNOW"... [I do not!...]"No one there will do for that [There country and language] a thing!",
I asked them to ask first in KORG, because they are the distributor, and do not give me an answer like that...
And they said again-that they will not. because no one...
Here I am asking you- Do you know if KORG are going to make an option in lyrics for all language, or bmp\jpg format in lyrics [like in the ROLAND E80],
For what I will buy the "tv-out" if the lyrics not for all language? [KORG need to understand that if they want to sell...]
By the way- it was after 3 email's to them to the US end 1 to.... UK distributor.
THE FORUM GOOD FOR KORG! MORE THEN TO US!
And you and Mr. Taramannoni doing a good work for all!
Can you plaese help with my -"Post subject: Bug? There is a problem that the sound's in the STS become.."
And what about -"Post subject: Mr. tramannoni PLEASE can you HELP, please!" can you, please?
Other distributor can not...
Tank you for your respnse!

FIX BUGS TO NEW YEAR
KORG.. FIX THE BUGS BEFORE NEW YEAR PLS!!!
After I load my set.. and then upload some extra multisamples it "FREEZ" and I have to restart the key. it happend to me like 4 - 5 times now. didnt load ANYTHING of others sets. Just wave samples, and multisamples.
I think the best we can do , its only load our styles, only the styles, and manually reload ALL samples.

Piotrek,
I understand the phasing issue, now. The Lead voice, that you are thinking has been deactivated by the DryOff, is still there, and overlaps with the same voice you are feeding via the mixer's channel.
To get rid of it, do not send it from the mixer's channel to the mixer's main output. Just send it to the Pa2X, where it will be mixed with the Voice Processor effects.
Best regards,
Paolo
I'm sorry, but this is a display bug. The DryOff status should not exist in Pa2X/Pa800. We apologize for this problem, and will fix it with the next minor release.piotrek_muzyk wrote:I talk about this "DryOff"

Before you show Pa2 I thinked "voice modeling and pitch correcetion is Standard in Pa2x" ..... In my opinino Tc Helicon i Pa2 is worse as Pa1x.
Now I must buy external TC Helicon procesor

Re: Still the same BUG in Pa2x ... Mr. Tramannoni READ THIS
The way the internal mixer works is different than in Pa1X. But there is no practical difference, just a change in method: your voice must be sent only to the Pa2X (dry), and from there sent back to the mixer (dry + wet). Mixing between the dry and wet signals is not to be done at the mixer, but in Pa2X.piotrek_muzyk wrote:And any chance to add this parametr in voice procesor ???
The Voice Processor in Pa1X was indeed exceeding our customer's expectations. With the new series, while maintaining (or even improving) the same sound quality, we left out the less sought-after features, and included the most appreciated ones. This allowed us to lower the final price of Pa2X/Pa800 quite a bit - and this seems to be a higly appreciated 'feature'...Tc Helicon i Pa2 is worse as Pa1x.
Specialized tasks, like voice modeling, seems to be still a feature most requested by recording studios - more than live performers. TC Helicon hardware and software units are indeed great tools for this, and they are easy to be integrated in a Pa2X-based workflow. At the same time, most usual voice processing can be done in Pa2X, without the need of a dedicated studio processor. Now I must buy external TC Helicon procesor

Paolo
