Do you mean New York City or New York State ... NY is a big state
If you mean NYC ... Sam Ash and Manny's Music are both on the same street in midtown Manhattan and Guitar Centre (er, Center) is further south.

You ALSO need to make sure the music shop is authorized to sell an OASYS AND has them in stock (depending on how long you are in the country).
Use the Korg USA Dealer locator, select a State then select the OASYS radio button:

It appears there are 3 OASYS dealers in New York city (Forest Hills is in "Queens"):
GUITAR CENTER #810
25 W 14TH ST
NEW YORK, NY 10011-7402
212-463-7500
www.guitarcenter.com
SAM ASH 04
11325 QUEENS BLVD
FOREST HILLS, NY 11375-5536
718-793-7983
www.samash.com
SAM ASH 07
160 W 48TH ST
NEW YORK, NY 10036-1522
212-719-2299
www.samash.com
You can map out directions using Yahoo Maps:

Another alternative would be to buy from Sweetwater (on-line retailer). They could ship the OASYS anywhere in the U.S.. The disadvantage would be you would probably have to pay shipping charges. The advantage would be you would avoid paying Sales Tax (both NY state and NYC sales tax).

Hey Daz,

Thanks. When I purchased my OASYS 88 from Sweetwater I had to pay $75 shipping (it cost more than that to ship but that represents the "extra" Sweetwater had to pay when compared to shipping for normal sized items).
If you purchased an OASYS 88 in NYC for $8,000, total price would be:
-- $8,000 + (8,000*.0873) = 8,000 + 698.40 = $8,698.40.
If you purchased an OASYS 88 from Sweetwater for $8,000 the total price would be $8,075.
[Both the above assume you can negotiate either down to $8,000 -- i.e. tell Sweetwater that GC NY will sell for $8,000, tell GC NY that Sweetwater will sell for $8,000].

The BEST price would be used on eBay. However, you need to be VERY careful about buying, making sure the seller is legitimate.

Don't know if this might be of interest:
Both Sam Ash and Sweetwater have "club" charge cards that allow you to have up to a year before paying plus 0% interest.
Even though you may reside in Poland, since both cards are offered through international banks (HSBC and GE) it may be a feature available to you. Certainly worth checking out. As much as I like and deal with Sweetwater, I've had good luck too with Sam Ash and the personal contact you'd have with them could be useful. However, saving all that Sales Tax is significant.
Depending on your credit ranking you may/may not be able to put all of the OASYS tab on the card. However, even a portion might be helpful. This way you could charge a portion of the tab and pay it off at 0% interest. Can't beat that!
As Martin says, watch out for ebay. IMO, especially if you in a country otherthan where the seller lives, you may be asking for trouble unless the used OASYS and the seller are 100% reliable. Personally the money saved might be worth sacrificing in favor of a brand-new machine plus a two-year warranty available nearer to you neck of the woods.
Also, will you have any customs/duty issues to consider? And what about shipping?
