Hi all,
This post is just for information and to convey my thanks to Korg UK.
On a gig last week I suddenly lost one note on my Pa1xpro,(E above middle C,) After a while the note came back on but only at full velocity.
This morning I phoned Korg UK and spoke to a guy called Gareth, he gave me excellent instructions and invaluable advice. At 11.o.clock this morning I opened up the top of the pro, completely removed the key-bed, lifted the offending rubber contact, cleaned it and replaced everything.
The whole job took about i hour and was suprisingly easy although a bit worrying. But thanks to Gareths help its all back together and working as it should. Wow was I relieved? Now I wouldn't hesitate to open up the keyboard and attempt any mechanical problem.
I just love my PA1xpro. and thanks again to Korg. Great keyboard and great service.
Regards
Rob

Really glad to hear it worked out for you.
Gareth is a very good guy. Little does he know it, but he did a lot of work on my Trinity one year. Sent him and the guys a little Christmas gift back then, hope they got it.
The guys at KORG UK are really a fantastic bunch of sincere musicians and technicians.
Regards.
