http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... :IT&ih=005
i'm going crazy....
in addition to my Trinity-rack, Triton Studio 76, Triton Extreme 61, Roland auto-arranger and cheap yamaha, i bought this oasys....
(i'm trying to sell Roand va-76, triton studio 76 and yamaha djx... should i keep the extreme with this oasys ?
after this i'm saving money to buy a car....(it will take me along time, with the job i got...)
So..
What do you think about this Oasys?

Damn Good price
Even if the Key is broken its no major job to drop in a replacement.
It may have just come loose from the Keybed assembly, maybe due to the metal tension strip could have just come loose making the key drop
I recall someone else on the Triton Haven forum had bought a Triton Extreme, took it out of the Box(Factory sealed still from the shop) and one or two of the keys were like this Oasys one,it doesn't mean its been misused or suffered an Impact
Chances are if it had been dropped or hit,it would have sustained more than that sort of damage, although I would give it the once over given that they sold it so cheap and have put a disclaimer that they didn't test it fully.
but if everythings Ok,you certainly got a bloody good Bargain.
In Uk pricing given the Dollar/Sterling rates at the moment that works outs(£1753)
You got an Oasys for less Money than the Uk Price of an M3 73 which is £1899

Vadim,
You MAY have gotten a great deal.
Of course the first thing you will need to do is take the keyboard to your local Korg Authorized Service Center to get it checked out and the keys repaired. Where are you located?
Let's assume, worst-case scenario that this OASYS will cost $1,000 to completely repair. If so, you still have a great deal at $4,650.
Keep us informed about your progress.

Perhaps you can ask around to see which of the MA repair centers are good. No one will probably have experience with the OASYS, but you should be able to find someone who has had experience with the Triton series, most of which would transfer to the OASYS.

I agree, it seems to me you're going to wind up on the plus side on many fronts here with some great options at your disposal.
And there was this one time at band camp......

yes, but isn't "mandolin Tremolo" comes saparately in "plucked string" EXi ?Stralner wrote:Hey what do you think?? ...m3 is just a mini Oasys you know.Vadim wrote:Does Oasys have "mandolin Tremolo" like M3 and Trinity ?
if yes I might have to sell Tr-rack along with Roland and Tritons..

NEVER MIND I PRELOADED FACTORY DATA AND IT WORKED.
untill i tried updating to new OS and the system doesn't boot now...
Also,
I thought before, that OASYS has automated/motorized faders, but I was wrong...
And I thought that new Expensions EXi are free, but MOD-7 and LAC aren't...So You pay $7000 and than pay for updates..
I'd rather buy LAC for computer and use it with Cubase instead of OASYS sequencer....

Updating from 1.0.x to anything newer requires a full four CD set of 1.1.x or newer and a reauthorization CD specifically for your OASYS. I'd suggest contacting your country's Korg distrubutor and requesting these specific items.Vadim wrote:NEVER MIND I PRELOADED FACTORY DATA AND IT WORKED.
