Hi guys,

I hope one of you guys can help me out here.....
My pa80 doesnt do nothing after it has started up (after 'startup' blank screen or all garbled up), you cant do nothing.
Before i had issues that the sound went off for no reason then after a while came back. and now this happened!!! pls help me .... somebody.... I've already tried to reinstall OS (OS 3.06) no go.

I had the same problem. As soon as you switch on the keyboard, the bootting signal would come and then the entire screen becomes blank. I went to the service center and they said two ICs have been damaged. These ICs cost around 150 - 250 $ depends on the country in which you live.

Before you go to the service center and spend $$
Try loading an earlier OS like 3.02 !!
You may then be able to do an upgrade...
if that fails, then you have a hardware issue.

BTW - I upgraded to 3.06, then downgraded to 3.02 as there was nothing I needed in it. I [literally] just sold my PA80 3 days ago, buthad it for 4 yrs and never had a single problem with it - 2+ yrs on OS 3.02 !!!
