Re: Vokal mic.
shure SM58 is just NOT comparable with any MIC that is made till today...(for live)
the frequency responds on SM58 is just out of this world, i have remembered cases, where SM58 really solved the issues...
another good example is MTV, watch it and start counting the numbers of songs that were filmed or recorded with SM58.....
very clean, pure and strong sound, i have compared SM58 with $1000. mics
result : NOT COMPARABLE !! (that's Y SM58 is never discontinued)
last but not least, how many PRO sound companies don't carry SM58 while doing live sound?
hahaha, i just become a FULL member(no more junior) reached 100 posts.

Dont also forget that the Mic also depends on the sourthat goes in,
the Vocalist, the Instrument, Studio or Live and many other facts.
