Hi there, I'm wondering if these Smart Media XD adapters are any good, or is it better to scramble around for the real deal? thanks Robosardine.

it doesn't matter, they're a fast easy to manage solution, works just fine no glitches nothing

3.99 on newegg, com, they'll deliever for free cause it's so small, comes with a lifetime replacement so if you lose it, they'll send you a new one....

also it's more reliable cause smart media cards are small and flimsy and easy to lose... they're annoying to get out of the machines....

one word of caution you have to make sure that the xd card is 128mb or less because that's the biggest size for the smart media cards...

your what doesn't work? xd adapter? I doubt it..... if you bought an xd card that's 128 mb or less, put it into the adapter, put the adapter into the electribe (upside down actually) and it still doesn't work, then one of those three parts is faulty..

i figured the adapter was faulty.

tried using it on other machines, too. so i bit the bullet and got a smartmedia card. works great.
