PA1x software left 'hanging'?

Post by ashboe »

Over the past two days, the PA1x has been left 'hanging' after a request
ie, in sequencer mode, I had put in 6 tracks, and then when I pressed the next sound name on the next track, it just hung with me unable to press any buttons - just like a computer 'hang'. I had to switch off and on. This happened twice yesterday and again today. The sequencer also moved ALL data except one track 030 bars further away!! (Track one played the first 33 bars, all other tracks stopped on beat 2 of bar 7 to reappear on bar 935)
I think maybe time to reinstall the software!!

Hello Sean,

I replied to your other post about the CD drive also but to repeat here for clarity, have you tried reinstalling the OS and reloading the musical resources?

It sounds like there's something not quite right about the OS installation.
Cheers

Dave

And use the Intro1 button by OS Installation - that´s better in this way.

I reloaded OS and Musical Resources 3 and the PA!X got working. However the CD wouldn't write data and at rehearsal the whole thing froze and stopped. I tried doing the thing your way, with INTRO 1 and it has worked PERFECTLY - even thhe CD writes again!!
I have noticed over the past few months you saying use INtro 1 etc, and thought - no, it can.t make a difference - I apologize, you hit the nail on the head!!!!

I can honestly say, many thanks for sorting this out- I thought I was having to get to Korg service centre!!!
