You are joking right????

I know what a MIDI file is and that is NOT what I was asking for!! Never mind! I was just hoping someone could help out a fellow musician! I really hope this is just a misunderstanding and not an insult!! Ok After some thought is it possible to isolate a midi file track and create GE's out of them! Maybe that is what I should have asked!!

hm.. I am not sure if I understand you right - are you interested in the complete song, or only the intro? In case of the first, why do you dislike the MIDI file? What would be the benefit of KARMA if you want to get as close to the original as possible? Or do you want to get a KARMAfied Combination (sounds & MIDI)?
If you are interested only in the intro... I am not sure and I do not have the song here to listen to. But I think they used a SCI Prophet 600 together with its internal arpeggiator.
No offense.
best regards
peter

Probably a misunderstanding. If you want a full blown "KARMA-fied" combi that replicates or comes close to "Kyrie", that's another matter. This is not an easy task. In fact, I'm not aware of too many Karma, OASYS or M3 users or developers who can just whip up a made to order combi design in short order complete with KARMA functions, RTCs etc. I will consider it for my next collection, however. I'm too busy with current projects myself.
Now, to answer your question about converting a Midi file to Karma GE for the OASYS, this will be possible with Stephen Kay's forthcoming "Karma OASYS" (KO) software which is still in development. Stay tuned for announcements from Karma Lab concerning KO.
Cheers,
Eric
