I am going back and forth with the now-current-time version with what appears to be a USB A on both ends connected to my MAC and nothing and I repeat nothing is being or getting transferred.

Re: NAUTILUS EDITOR
The Nautilus Editor uses MIDI communication, mostly SysEx, between computer and keyboard. It relies on the computer acting as MIDI host, and the Nautilus as a slave device. USB-A to USB-A cables won't work, for this reason. Try using a USB-A to USB-B cable, with the USB-A end connected to the computer, and the USB-B end to the Nautilus, and check that the Nautilus is recognised as a MIDI device. Alternatively, use a USB to MIDI interface connected to the computer, and use MIDI DIN cables between the interface and Nautilus. If using this route, configure the Nautilus Editor to connect to the USB to MIDI device.
