I frequently see users be conflicted with customization feature of icons & position of resources that were
brilliantly added to gain back position of resources and get rid of this alphabetical order that have blown our mind.

What can be customized and what are the prerequisites in order this function to be enabled ?
- As first all USER Resources that exist in "INTERNAL" storage of motherboard Rompler of Pa5X in the well Known
USER Tab , and concerns either USER 1- X preset folders nor any custom folder that user has created.
- Any resources (Styles/PAD/KBD SET) in a KST folder that has been saved by Pa5X in any storage media like
Korg Disk , mSD card os USB drive.

Workflow example for customizing icons of Styles of external storage disk KST folder.
In Style mode , press on screen of player 1 to select a Style
- Select DRIVES Pad , open any storage , open KST folder/Open STYLES / Open sub-folder of Styles (If exist)
- Select one style pressing for more than one second and arrows appear re-press it for more than one second
and icon customization appears , select one you like and press exit.
- Done , go the next one and do the same for as many you like.
You can do the same with folders of PAD & KEYBOARDSET , read new manual of OS 1.4 for details.

Sorry, but did you really think I didn't know that already?

What I said about the icon customization is that it hasn't been updated or doesn't work for the user sounds!!!
So Korg has once again done a half-hearted job, as they've been doing for three years!
If they want to brag about aesthetics like the icons, why do they only skip the user sounds?

Anthony, if someone reports that the custom "Syncrostart" is completely useless by simply disabling it, that's not a wish, but a design flaw!
Where should we report that, other than by starting another "Treat"?

That "SyncroStart/Stop" customization, which is completely incorrectly implemented, was my idea because it works much better on other brands. Just like the "Incorrect Transpose to MIDI In" bug fix, which is now fixed. I've mentioned this several times on this forum, but even Korg representatives hadn't noticed it after all these years, ever since the Pa4x. Now it's finally fixed!!!

I have great respect for you, but please don't treat the people posting here like idiots.

I also have experience in the music industry, specifically with organs and keyboards, since 1976—that's almost 50 years!
And I also contributed to the development of a very well-known organ/keyboard brand.
We also looked at the competition and how things worked and were programmed there.

That's something Korg still lacks.

PS: I'm always cautious; there are always people much smarter than me. Being open to learning from others is very important! That would be great for everyone!

Nobody talked about SOUND Edit interface , SOUND architecture is the same in Korg for 20 years and won't change IMO.
Customization is only for new format files of Pa5X like Styles/Pad/KBD Set.
It would be possible to change icon only in SOUND resources , but never position for well known reasons , but it would
need extra programming for this and that's why they were excluded.
