Hello everyone. The new Korg Pa5x Oriental is out. Is it possible for someone to provide us with styles and performances from that keyboard? Does anyone have a Pa5x Oriental and can they send us a back up? Can we load that sound and style from Pa5x Oriental?

I would just add... I downloaded the Korg Pa5x Oriental OS and was unable to install it in my Korg Pa5x which of course is not a Pa5x Oriental. There is still a question whether someone who has a Korg Pa5x Oriental can share rhythms and sound users with us?

Good for you that your PA5X did not breakdown because of incompatible software install.
By the way, the oriental/musikant versions of the instrument use localized resources which is not possible to be exported and installed on international version of the keyboard.

Thanks for your effort. However, if you look into the contents, it is missing the PCM & SOUND directory. The SOUND directory contains the instruments and the PCM contains the samples of the instruments (e.g., Duduk, Baglama, etc needs special PCM data).

How are we supposed to install the LOCAL files in Pa5X?
Most of the styles do not work!!

You need to install the styles/pads one by one. Even after doing that the styles/pads will not play, because they are missing the custom sound resources. See my previous post, there is no PCM / SOUND data in the exported zip/rar file. So it will not work.

You can load a style, and go to the MIXER tab (style sub menu), see that some of the style parts will not have sounds. You can use your musical judgement and add the missing sounds to the style parts from the factory resources.

Yes, I tried adding the missing drum part to some of the styles from the Drum Kit, and it does work.
However, I am sure if I know how to link the sounds (PCM) to the Styles/PAD. Not sure if my question is valid!

I extracted the contents from the original v1.3.0 ORT installer!
SOUND and PCM are not there because they are local resources.
On the one hand, the installer does not include them (NO_PCM),
on the other hand, they cannot be saved from the original instrument either!

I tried. Does not work. Rhythms-styles could be
realized, but it takes a lot of time, it's not worth it. I am very disappointed once again.

Where can we get the data list for the oriental version. It's not available on the website. Is the oriental version has all PCM data which is in the international version ?

Can someone tell me where to buy Arabic Styles & Sounds for Pa5X?
