Free App for the Oasys

Hi,

Im writing a free windows app for the Oasys, Kronos and Nautilus. Its called Nautilus tools - I thought Oasys, Kronos and Nautilus tools was too long a name :-) It will run on a Mac under Codeweavers Crossover and can be controlled from tablets and phones using Microsoft Remote Desktop. The three synths have very similar architecture, as you might expect.

I Bought an Oasys new in 2005 and made the big mistake of selling it in 2012 because of needing space for another bedroom. I really miss it and if Korg released an Oasys 2 I would buy it. Even if I needed to take out mortgage for $10,000.

You can find the app at https://stuartpryer.co.uk with documentation.

Ley me know what you think, its early days. Let me know of any ideas for things to add. At the moment it maps Midi CCs, sysex and you can send custom sysex strings etc.

best wishes

Hello Stuart, I came across your post rather by chance as I am not usually in the Oasys section (Kronos mostly).
However I wasn't able to find this app on your website, I was rather lost on your site.. :o

Seeing the Kronos is revived, your app may be now even more relevant than before.
Could you post the direct link to the Oasys/Kronos/Nautilus app?

Hi,

With Korgs surprise release of the Kronos 3 at Namm things have moved on. Ive preordered a Kronos 3 and can't do much to develop the app or book further until that comes - this summer?

On my website is a link to my book on the Kronos (includes Oasys/ Nautilus) which is a free download. Also contains the manual for version 1 of the software. The book is called the Korg Kronos - User Guide.

https://www.stuartpryer.co.uk/ The book link is just below the Triton Controller section. Its a work in progress and currently is 120 pages long :D

Cheers
